Community Development Center's (PCDC) Operation P.R.E.P. (Preparedness
Re-Entry Program) is the direct link between men and
women who are being released from County Jails, Correctional Institutions,
Prisons, and Half-Way Houses and preparing to re-enter society.
We are
dedicated to elevating their levels of self esteem and to aiding them
through their Re-Entry process into society. Providing a strong
support network throughout the
reconnection transition of the ex-offender with their family and community
is our direct objective.
- Structuring a detailed
plan of action for the inmate during the final 12 month period
prior to their anticipated release date is our major focus.
This plan must include:

Our Pre-Release
Investigation support will verify on a local level, outstanding
warrants that may have remained active during the inmates period of
incarceration including: Child Support, Traffic fines, etc., prior
to the inmates release. Assisting the inmate with this process
allows them to smoothly pave the path they have laid before
they are faced with the element of surprise and risk of violation,
leading to re-incarceration.
- We are breaking the
endless cycle of release and re-incarceration by providing access to
support systems that meet their social, economic, and emotional needs.
